About InlineStyle: European Open Cloud, Trust & Terms

Who runs InlineStyle, how we protect your data, and why our open source European cloud supports digital sovereignty.

InlineStyle is an independent European cloud project. It’s built by a small team of open source developers and digital freedom advocates who believe everyday online tools should be transparent, ethical and accessible to everyone, without advertising or data tracking.

Our goal is digital sovereignty for everyday users: cloud services that are understandable, portable, EU hosted and not dependent on advertising, tracking or venture capital growth incentives.

Who we are

InlineStyle is operated by a for-profit company registered in Italy. Revenue from the service funds its operations and contributions to the open-source software it relies on. InlineStyle does not target profit as an end in itself; we chose a for-profit structure because it is the most effective way for us to finance open-source software development and operational costs.

Hosting and infrastructure

Our services are operated entirely within the European Union, primarily in Germany through Hetzner Online GmbH. User data handled by InlineStyle services never leaves the EU. Payment providers are separate from the service infrastructure; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Funding and sustainability

InlineStyle is 100% user-funded. Stripe and Ko-fi are available as payment options. Ko-fi is our European payment choice for people who prefer not to use a US-based payment provider. Every contribution goes towards operating the service and supporting the open-source projects we rely on. There are no ads or data sales.

Transparency and communication

We publish regular updates, guides and technical notes on Mastodon. Service availability can be monitored at status.inlinestyle.it. You can check our opensource projects on Codeberg.

Data and user rights

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon request, we assist with data export and permanent deletion according to EU regulations (GDPR). All user data remain private and under your control.

Terms of Use

• No bullshit. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
• Respect first. What you create is yours. What you share is your choice.
• Transparency. The code is open. The infrastructure is in Europe.
• Responsibility. You’re responsible for what you upload and share. Don't break the law or harm others.
• Commitment. We actively contribute to the open source projects we rely on, and support the creators we recommend.
